Hello and welcome to Senior Management Training!
First and foremost, congratulations on making it into SM!
This training is designed to familiarise new members of SM with the new abilities and duties they gain.
Please don’t walk around, talk, or go idle during this training.
I recommend that you pay close attention and take notes because you will have two tasks to complete within this division.
Do you have any questions before we start?
[Answer any questions they might have]
First, let’s go over approving disciplinary logs.
You’re allowed to approve disciplinary requests for members that are at least 1 division
lower than you.
Before approving any disciplinary log, you must make sure you know the details of
the situation and what Code of Conduct rules the violator broke based on his or her actions.
A screenshot illustrating the member clearly breaking the CoC must also be provided
as a form of evidence.
Please note that multiple screenshots are welcome, but at least one screenshot is mandatory to log
any warnings/strikes/fires. Take your own screenshots if you are involved.
Also, the member sending screenshots should be advised to upload them to a website such as Imgur
and send you the link on Slack so you can add it as proof under the “Reason” section
in the disciplinary log on the portal.
After analyzing the evidence and reviewing the screenshot(s), it’s up to you whether
you think there’s sufficient enough evidence to log a CoC violation.
If there’s not enough evidence provided then you’re allowed to decline the approval.
If you’re ever confused about what disciplinary should be given for an offender,
don’t hesitate to request help from either a Legal Affairs member, CoS, or any elective.
Do you have any questions on issuing and logging disciplinaries?

Next, let’s talk about Personal Secretaries.
Now that you’ve reached the SM division in HIA, you are allowed to hire a Personal Secretary or a PS!
The hiring process is up to you and only you;
You may decide to take applications via Google Forms or ask a member you see who is a hard worker.
You are only allowed to have one PS at a time and each PS is only allowed to work for one boss
in a single period.
Many things can be done by a PS, but there are limitations of what your PS can do on your behalf.
For example, they can do work such as interviewing other members to help you gather information for a certain task.
At no time should your PS work without you participating and/or assisting in completing said task.
How you show appreciation for your assistant’s hard work is entirely up to you,
you may want to pay them every week using your own personal coins or furniture or buy them ranks.
Keep in mind, it’s not mandatory to compensate your PS but it’s always a nice incentive.
Regardless of how you show appreciation, it should be something that’s agreed upon by both parties.
