You can ask any SM+ members who have been disciplinary trained. (or higher division from you if you are SM+).

You can ask your approver or an LA member to check your evidence.

Do you have any questions before we begin?
[Answer any questions that they might have to the best of your abilities]
As a member of the PS division or above, it’s vital for you to be educated on logging disciplinaries.
This can include logging warnings and strikes for members below your division.
Remember:
¥ PS+ can log warnings/strikes
¥ GOV+ can log fires
¥ SM+ can APPROVE disciplinary/fired logs (they must have the proper disciplinary training beforehand.)
A disciplinary action is the act of warning, striking, demoting, and/or firing HIA personnel
due to inappropriate behaviour and breaches of the HIA Code of Conduct.
Let’s start with logging a disciplinary properly.

First, we can run through the sections of a disciplinary log and things to remember.
Please go on google and type up this link:
tiny|cc/DisciplinaryPresentation7 (replace I with .)
Please tell me once you're there.
That slideshow will help show you what I will be talking about.
Please follow along on the Slideshow.
Now let us start!
To start with “Name of person to give strike:”, this section is for the individual that the log will be against.
Please do not put your own name here.
Next, “Rank of person to give strike:”, this section is also for the individual that the log will be against.
Please do not put your own rank here.
The third section will be listed as “Type:”. If you click the dropdown box,
there will be a number of options available to you.
“Warning x1” is for all employees, this is given before any strike or fired log is to be made.
Next, “Warning x2 and x3”. These two are ONLY for Agents. Agents should be fired on Warning x3.
Then, there is “Strike x1, x2 and x3”, these are for Security+.
If a strike is given to a member, they must add “x1, x2 or x3” to their motto,
depending on the level of the strike.
On a Strike x2, the user should be demoted ONE rank, and they must add a x2 to their motto.
On a Strike x3, the user should be fired.

The next section that will be available is “Demote User”, this is a simple tick box that will
automatically demote the user on portal 1 rank if it is ticked. Only tick this for Strike x2.
Next up, “Approver”. This section is for you to fill out who approved your log. The approver of the
log must be SM+ and must have also completed disciplinary training,
or be a Legal Affairs member.
Second to last, screenshots. "Screenshots" are needed for a log to be valid.
A few examples of what to use to upload screenshots are:
Pictures using phones are discouraged but will be allowed if there is still a
clear picture of the individual violating rules, then it will be acceptable.
Screenshots must also contain timestamps of the incident.
This should be the time of day, and the day the incident took place.
A screenshot including your computer’s clock in the corner should suffice on most operating systems.
Finally, I will now cover what to place in the “Reason:” section of your disciplinary log.
Disciplinary logs must be logged for a reason, which can easily be found on the Code of Conduct.
A log MUST include the rules that are violated.
These can be included in the log as just the numerical value (e.g: 1.A §16) or the full rule.
(e.g 1.A §16 - Do not sell ranks without the [HIA] Rank Sellers badge.)
Remember to let the offender know of their logged warning!

4. What would you give to Security+ after Warning x1?
5. What must be included in the reasons & screenshot section of a disciplinary log?
6. When should you tick the yes box to demote the defendant?
7. When should you log a warning?
[Must get 5/7 correct to pass - if they don't pass go through the training again until they fully grasp it]

Let’s start with logging a disciplinary properly.
- First of all, the member you are disciplining MUST be breaking the CoC in order to be warned.
(Personal disputes will be deemed invalid and you will be put at fault.) - The offender must be given a verbal warning prior, please screenshot yourself giving a verbal the warning and include it in the log.
- If the offender continues behaving inappropriately, you can now log a warning for them.
- You must compile all necessary screenshots of the offender breaking the rule(s).
- Your log needs approval, send your screenshots to a SM+ (4iC+ for an instant fired log).
Make sure to provide reasoning for the disciplinary too!
If a log is deemed invalid, approvers will be held responsible alongside the discipliner. - Once they have agreed to the validity of the log, you must record the disciplinary using portal.
