The purpose of this guide is to outline how we expect HIA workers to be dressed, following the Code of Conduct at all times. This guide applies to everyone, regardless of rank and also applies to Allies, SV and VIP and Veteran holders.
[Remember that clothing must be appropriate AT ALL TIMES, exceptions are made during special events when given permission by HET and Foundation]
This is an outline of what you should expect to see in this guide which we have made to help you have a better understanding of our uniform policy:
- Do’s and Don’ts
- Purchasable Items

- Consequences
1.C §1 - Attire worn in HIA should be appropriate AT ALL TIMES, exceptions being made during special events permissible by HIA.
1.C §2 - Any wearable/set of wearables that covers more than 75% of your character's face would not be allowed; this includes hair, beards, masks, and eyewear. For example, a combination of a surgical mask and a pair of sunglasses would cover most of your face (over 75%), so only either wearable will be permitted in this case.
1.C §3 - You must not be shirtless or wearing little to nothing, ie. Swimwear.
1.C §4 - Anything that resembles another group’s styles, such as raiding groups.
1.C §5 - Copying of another member’s style without their permission is not permitted.
1.C §6 - Styles of offensive manner are not to be worn. This includes that of the racial type. This helps keep HIA a safe place for those easily offended.
1.C §7 - Using any wearable/totem effects (eg. all purple to enable the ghost mode, fire effect, floating effect and more) results to an instant kick. Held effects (eg. Magic Wand, Watering Can, Lightsaber, etc.) are allowed.
1.C §8 - Agents, Security, and Trainers must wear the traditional HIA uniform by stepping through the football gate or through the mannequins in base. A uniform for HC members is also available.
1.C §9 - Agents, Security and Trainers must remove any accessories apart from head accessories and jewelry before entering. Head accessories must not exceed 75% of the face. Badges on clothing are not permitted to be worn with the HIA uniform and must be removed before entering.
FEMALE staff members are allowed to wear trousers instead of skirts. The picture below will represent what they are allowed to wear for non-HC and HC staff member.

Below you will find all the items that are currently BANNED from being worn in HIA (except casual friday).
Please take note that skins that remove your Habbo's original skin are considered to be functioning as masks. Cat Face, Demonic eyes, Mystic Eyes, Dolled Up Face, Zombie Eyes are permitted. However, RoboBoy face as shown below is NOT.
Please note: 2-Combo shirts that allow for the imitation of showing skin based off of the undershirt color ARE ALLOWED. However, if deemed inappropriate, you may be asked to change.

We only allow certain pieces of specific costumes.
The Meow-suit, Dino-suit and Snowman-suit are allowed to be worn but not as a whole.
E.g. You may wear the hat and the top but not the full outfit at the same time. The head of the dino onesie and snowman-suit is not permitted. However the rest of the outfit is permitted to be worn. This is because the costumes do not reflect our business-casual theme at HIA.
The tops of the Desert Princess Outfit and the Mermaid Outfit are not permitted, however, other clothing items in the outfits are permitted.
Which combinations are allowed and not allowed?
Combinations of certain items may cause them to be inappropriate in base (even if both of these items are permitted separately.) Any wearable/set of wearables that covers 75% of your character’s face would not be allowed.
For instance, a surgical mask and eyepatch would be allowed.
However, a surgical mask and glasses would not be allowed.

NOTE (Most recent update) Beards and hair are considered wearable. Thus if it’s paired with other items and it covers more than 75% of the face, it is unacceptable.
Certain combinations may be deemed acceptable while others are not - please settle Dress Code disputes with the Chief of Staff Team and/or Directorates/Foundation.

If you have any questions, concerns or are unsure about whether something is allowed. Please contact the Chief of Directorates or a Chief of Staff member.

Habbo raiders are often massive and organized groups of individuals that team up to blockade entry to public and popular rooms. More often than not, raiders are often there for malicious intent.
One of the most popular forms of raiders is the ‘Pools Closed.’ group. There are also groups of less known raiders, such as the Russian Federation, or Russian Empire.

We only allow three effects to be worn and used within base by the general community: the laser sword, the magic wand and the watering can.

Other Effects
