What is the Help Desk and how does it work?
The Help Desk is a working station any member can unlock once they are promoted into the OOA division, and have conducted the OOA training. Its main purpose is to help members with any kind of questions, concerns or issues they might have. It’s primary usage is for providing information, as well as passing on requests to iC members of staff (i.e. Badge Admin, Portal Admins, etc.). The help desk is not be used to socialise with friends or other workers.
What kind of questions are we allowed to asked at the Help Desk?
You are allowed to ask HIA (i.e. the usage of Portal, Slack accounts) and/or Habbo related questions (i.e. unlocking a trading pass). Do ensure that you are there to be asking relevant questions. In addition, make sure you are sat at the help desk to ask/answer questions instead of being there to socialise.
How do I get a Badge Accepted?
First, make sure the person that needs the badge accepted has requested it. Secondly, ensure that the promotion has been logged so it is not forgotten about. If you are not a member of Slack, you must ask an active Badge Admin online at base to accept the badge request from the member that solicited it. If you are a member of Slack, you must make use of the Slack #requests channel and ask a Badge Admins(BA) to please accept the badge, citing the following instances: Name of the person requesting the badge and the badge you wish to get accepted.
How do I get a Portal Account accepted?
First, make sure the person that needs the portal accepted has requested it. Along with making sure they have copied the verification code into their motto. The portal page is found here. If you are not a member of Slack, you must ask an active Portal Admin online in base to accept you to Portal . If you are a member of Slack, you must make use of the Slack #requests channel and ask a Portal Admin to accept the member after they have registered. For example: Name of the person requesting the portal and rank of the person. Please, do remember that all Trainer+ members are entitled to request for a portal account.
How do I get a Slack Account invite?
If you are not a member of Slack, you must ask an active Slack Admin online at base to invite the member that solicited to get a Slack account. If you are a member of Slack, you must make use of the Slack #requests channel and ask a Slack Admin in direct messages to please invite the person to join Slack, citing the following instances: Name of the person requesting to be invited and e-mail of the person.
Please, do remember that all Trainer+ members are entitled to request for a Slack Account.
How can someone get a trading pass?
If the member is a PC user, you may ask them to open a new tab on their browser and to search for our trading pass guide for further assistance.
If the member is a mobile user, you may ask them to check out the Habbo Mobile Guide.
How can someone request for LOA?
Members that wish to request for LOA may do it on Portal and awaiting the approval of a LOA Admin. They must also request the LOA badge, if possible (exceptions are made for those users unable to come online at Habbo to request). To apply for LOA on Portal, you must first go to "LOA Hub", then, you must click the option “Submit LOA” and fill out the format.
For those without a portal account, they should visit the help desk to request for assistance to get an LOA up.

What must I do if someone asks me if they are pay banned?
You must ask them to contact a payer for further assistance or look at the Pay Ban List.
If they cannot access the Pay Ban List, You can always check it yourself for their username
*Please remember that you are not allowed to tell an individual when Payban is over*.
How can someone get free HC from HIA?
Workers that are trainer and above are eligible for free HC, provided that they complete their respective requirements each week (e.g. Trainers do 5 trainings), and they will gain a HC level every week by claiming paybonus. To receive a free 31 days HC box, they must have a total of 3 HC levels, meaning they have to accumulate 3 weeks of paybonus.
What must I do if I can't answer someone's question?
You should ask for assistance from a higher rank. Do not give out information or advice you are not sure of. If the answer requires a member from a certain unit for example: a member may ask about the Transfer Unit, if you do not know the answer, please get in contact with one or ask the individual to. Please ensure that you are answering questions to the best of your ability. Before you ask for a higher rank, Make sure you are checking the HIA website thoroughly. The answer could be located there.
